NBA props for Friday, March 1: Ty is a win

Happy Friday. We posted a 2-2 record with a nice profit yesterday as Steph Curry and Jonathan Kuminga both outscored their opponents in a Warriors win. If you will recall I liked the balance of both bets with my preferred game script (a Golden State road win). It is not just about seasonal averages and pricing.

Friday gives us a pretty good NBA schedule to choose from. There are nine games on the schedule and I am excited to see Luka Doncic visit Boston. You know I love my Sacramento Kings and they are at Minnesota in a tilt that has real implications in the Western Conference. I guess they all do these days.

NBA Props for Friday, March 1

Brandon Ingram Over 22.5 Points (+100) Alt Line

The Pacers and Pelicans just met and Ingram cashed for us with 30 points. It would have been nice to ladder him in that game. Just a couple of days later these teams meet again and we have even more reason to like him to have a nice scoring day. For starters, he did not play that much or shoot that well earlier in the week (just 28 minutes/40% from the field in a noncompetitive loss). His home splits are favorable, especially from deep (45% from three).

Ty Haliburton More Points than Brandon Ingram (+160)

This one jumps out at me because of that price, and I think is another good combo with the bet above (similar to yesterday). These teams want to score and the Pelicans are favored at home to get some revenge. These players both average 21 ppg for the season and it is hard to envision a game scenario without injury where Ingram leads in points but both players are below seasonal averages. Haliburton posts better numbers on the road than at home this season, by 3 ppg. (I can see another double-cash ... can you?)

Toumani Camara Over 6.5 Rebounds (+105)

Portland's rookie forward is going to have a nice career doing the little things that help teams compete. He has already worked his way into the starting lineup and tonight the Blazers will be without center Deandre Ayton, freeing up even more rebounds. Last time out, Camara grabbed 10 with Ayton limited (he still grabbed 10 boards). This "regular" line feels easily achievable with 30+ minutes as a starter against Memphis.

Ayo Dosunmu Over 3.5 Rebounds (+120)

Earlier in the week we were on Dosunmu with a points prop (which hit). I still like that one tonight, but this line on his rebounds is a good one too. This is right at his average in a starting role this season and he has hit it in three of his last five games, including one where his scoring was a little light. The Bulls are hosting Milwaukee and will need everyone to contribute.
