The Minnesota Twins’ offense might get most of the attention next season, but their manager thinks they won’t be too shabby on the flip side either.
Twins skipper Rocco Baldelli told reporters on Thursday that he believes the team has the best bullpen in baseball, per Michael Rand of The Star Tribune.
While Minnesota might not have the splashiest names in its bullpen, its relievers were already a top-10 unit by ERA last season. On top of that, the Twins got Tyler Clippard this winter and also re-signed Sergio Romo. Their three-headed trio of righty Trevor May, lefty Taylor Rogers and righty Tyler Duffey all posted sub-3.00 ERAs in 2019 as well.
The Twins could have questions about how all their pieces will fit together next year, but they probably won’t have much to worry about from their relievers.
