Look of the Day for 4/15: Birds should feast on Twins' pitching

It's a brand new week for our Look of the Day series, and we don't have many options to start the week with no NBA on the schedule. So, let's head to the diamond and target our favorite prop bet for Monday's MLB slate.

Look of the Day: Baltimore Orioles team total over 4.5 (-110 DraftKings)

The Orioles are starting to heat up at the plate. Over the last week, Baltimore is averaging 5.8 runs per game. The Os rank first in MLB in home runs (12), fourth in OPS (.846) and seventh in batting average (.275) in that span.

Now they get to face Minnesota Twins starter Louie Varland, who's 0-2 with nine earned runs in his first nine innings of work this season. Opposing hitters are batting .333 against Varland this year with a 1.038 OPS and a .450 wOBA. The Twins' bullpen has been lights out to start the year, but we expect Baltimore to jump on Varland early and get close to its team total before the relievers enter the game.

The Orioles have scored five or more runs in nine of their 15 games this season, and we think they make it 10 of 16 on Monday.
