Tennessee Vols head coach Josh Heupel is a huge fan of UT's unique and storied traditions.
From the Vol walk to running through the T, Heupel loves the traditions that make Saturdays in Knoxville in the fall a special experience.
There's one tradition, however, that's at the top of the list for Heupel.
The fourth-year Tennessee head coach told former UT quarterback Josh Dobbs during a recent sit down on TPL Tennessee that he especially enjoys the Vol Navy.
"I love Vol Navy," said Heupel. "There's nothing like seeing the boats tied up. Nothing like it."
Heupel also told Dobbs that his favorite uniform combination for Tennessee is the Vols' "dark mode" look.
"Dark mode under the orange lights inside of Neyland Stadium, 102,000 (fans), tough to beat that," said Heupel.
Traditionalists may not like that uniform answer from Heupel, but there's no denying that the dark mode uniforms under the lights help create one of the most electric atmospheres in all of sports.
This was such a great opening on ESPN for Tennessee’s win against Kentucky. Chris Fowler nailed the intro. pic.twitter.com/3EULwoyYpT

Heupel's right, that's tough to beat.
