Love the videos, Greg. Thanks.
How about a video of you and your dog, Charles Barkley McLovin'? -
Good to know you're feeling better. Nice move throwing down the crutches on Wednesday night. See you tomorrow night at the RG!
-
It was great to see you there on Opening Night without crutches. Next year will be even better when you get to come down from the stands.
It's good to hear that your rehab is going well. Keep us updated as much as you can. -
Great to hear you are healing up. Get off those crutches and back on the court.
-
Good news that you are feeling better. Have you gotten the new guitar hero yet? It's really good.
-
Greg, check us out, www.shoottheball.net. See you in Portland on the 9th - can't wait for our bobbleheads!

Thanks for the update Greg, love the videos. Good luck with the rehab. :]
-
Greg,
Thanks for the updates. Looking forward to seeing you at 100%

Greg, How much can you bench in the weight room?
-
The most important thing for now is for you to heal completely. Then you get to start working with the great coaches as you are able. You get to learn so much this year that you will have a huge head start in being Rookie of the Year next year. Pay attention to Maurice Lucas, and get tips on how to sharpen your elbows. You have some great young team mates. Please keep us all updated as to the work you are doing, physically and mentally, to prepare for being our center for the next 15 years or so. The Blazers have a great future and you are the center of it. Stay focused and happy.
-
Great video Greg. I know you are down right now any competitor would be, but stay strong and your turn will come. Like they say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. God Bless GO.
-
glad to hear you'll be off the crutches soon. Those damn things are annoying I hated dealing with them when I got hurt
-
Greg, glad to see that you're taking care of yourself. Looking gooooooood!!!!
-
Gregie, you are looking great! I love your videos, thank you so much for keeping us informed! Have you thought about taking some classes at school with Brandon? You are so smart and it might help get your mind off other things too. I love you!
-
Hey Greg--you gotta watch Carnasaur 3: Primal Species on Sci-Fi, Great movie, excellent acting.
-
Greg move downtown, tualatin sucks! Im in your age group and if I lived in tualatin I would be so bored I think I would lose my mind! Hint look for a crib in the pearl district thats where im at and I love it. A 19 year old single guy living in tualatin=ouch.
-
Hey Greg, I got your bobble head last night! It was a great game. I cant wait to see you playing w/ the team! Get well man!
-
"Charles Barkley McLovin" What a name
-
If you're bored in Tualatin, you should hit craigslist.org and rent a place downtown. Just a 15min walk over the Broadway bridge to games.

-
Quick said that your thinking Portland is like Tualatin. Dude, the suburbs aren't exciting for 19-20yo. I'm out of college now but you'll want to buy a place in SW waterfront like Channing or by a pad down in the Pearl District. Good bars and people hanging out. 23rd and 21st are good places to hang out and some places in the east side are definitely chill too. The one thing you can't do is expect to hang out in freakin Tualatin and think exciting stuff is going to go down there. It aint, it's the suburbs. Move downtown take some friends with you like the dude that youre living with now and live it up down there. success and nothing less. Oh, and Gregie, you gotta tell the mcguigan member to not call you that. youre greg mofoin' oden. No gregie poo is getting respect from amare and kg.
-
just read the quick piece on you being bored with tualitin and thinking all of oregon was like that. I don't understand why so many players live out in tualitin, I know its close to the practice facilty but ugh there is nothing there. If you like walking, there are tons of great places to hike here, right in portland or a little farther out. Might be too much right now, since you just started walking, but ask Lucas to show you some of those places. I hope Portland continues to grow on you, I know I love it here and it seems a lot of players end up living here after their career is over so there must be something good about it :-)
-
Oh i forgot, tell your ohio people thanks for losing yesterday from the Ducks.
-
can't wait to see YardBarker with the scoop on Greg Oden coming back to play at full speed
-
Channing's probably bored out of his gourd in SW Waterfront. That neighborhood needs a bit more time.
-
Dear Mr. Oden,
I hear you think Tualatin leaves something to be desired. Dude, GET OUT OF THERE!! I've lived in Portland my whole life, and love it, but the suburbs make me depressed (just driving past them, even). I'm like you--I have to be able to walk places, to the grocery store, to the movies, wherever. At you age, you should be where you can see people and feel at least a little stimulated by your surroundings--Try the Pearl District! Then you can walk all around the waterfront loop, up into Forest park, everywhere. And have you tried the beach? It's wet and cold, but good walking. By the way, I've been meaning to let you know that your draft and your team mates have made me a Blazers fan for the first time since 1991. Thank you for coming to Portland! There ARE things to like about it! -
Greg... Try finding a house in the West Hills... Or maybe, a condo in the KOIN Tower... That would put you in the heart of Portland.
-
Or, you could get yourself a nice place near me in the Hillsdale neighborhood. I could show you around. ;-)
-
Move to the Pearl District for Charles. He's missin' out on all the action!

Never heard of doggie day care before...and that neighborhood has 3 of 'em!
Juan Dixon used to live there before getting that house out in Tualatin. Must have gotten tired of the commute. Or maybe he got priced out...lol -
Greg,
Hey whatsup. So, I just had the same surgery you had a little over a week ago...the microfractures; they thought it was just a torn meniscus but things changed once they went in. I just moved from Texas to play a little college ball (soccer) for a small school over in SE Portland, and half way through the season I messed my knee up...however, I did finish out the season...I just didn't get to play as much as before...ha! Anywho, I've got that leg machine (the guy said he'd delivered one to you the week before) for my knee...6-8 hrs a day...its rough! But, I was seein' if you got any advice or anything...like how to stay positive, b/c seein' my friends play or even just walkin' I get a little frustrated at times. Anything will help...

Greg, good to see you off the crutches and feeling better about the rehab. Man, it breaks my heart to think that Tualatin/BridgePort Village is all of Portland that you get to see, and that your life here is rehab/Tualatin, rehab/Tualatin. That's just wrong. Portland is an awesome city with great neighborhoods, and I sincerely hope you get to go out and see some stuff and meet people. I was about to say you should check out Dante's (where I met your teammate Channing Frye recently) but I remembered that you're not 21 yet. Seriously, though, I know some great restaurants in Southeast Portland where the breakfasts are outta this world, the doorways and ceilings are high, and it's not so crowded so people will mostly leave you alone and let you eat. If I knew how to get this info to you, I would, but hopefully somebody with the Blazers organization will help you out. I glad Luuuuuuke is showing you around, though honestly NW 23rd is pretty yuppie. later G.O.!

The team is looking good. Are you jealous of the guys? They appear to be having fun.
-
Greg:
Glad that you seem to have a great time at the Blazer Thanksgiving Dinner for the community. You need to keep being a fun person and everyone you will come in contact with you (off the court) will respect your humor and fun personality. When the 2008=2009 season comes around the NBA will learn to respect you as being "THE CLASS at the five." This of course will be for the next 15 years (or more) as you do for Portland what Duncan has done for SA. Have a GREAT Thanksgiving... -
blazers are tearing it UP !! im SCARED to think about what our teams gonna be like with you in the middle...ive been at every game this year and the way were playing now ?...O man...with you in the mix...WERE DESTINED FOR GREATNESS !!
-
Thanks for the insider view on this!
I really like to think of the idea of you and LA playing together plus whoever we draft next year! -
Happy 20th Greg! How does it feel to not be a teenager anymore?!
