good man, greg. taking a step back and truly being thankful for what you got makes all the blessings worthwhile. beating the lakers and holding off a finally healthy clippers team is a great way to carry momentum into the playoffs. you and joel are a great combo and all i know is that i wouldn't want to face us blazers in the 1st round.

Hey Mr. Oden, you did good against my Lakers man

Happy Easter, Greg. I'm glad that you seem pleased to be here in Portland. We have certainly tried to welcome you and your teammates here. This team means so much to us here and in turn, each player means the world to us too. From Sergio to LA to Channing to Shav. It makes no difference, we love all you guys.
-
hey Greg, happy Easter.... last game vs the Clippers, i saw you rolled your ankle early in the game... u limped around for a little bit, but seemed to be ok and were able to play the rest of the game fine.... so how is the ankle? It gonna nag u the rest of the year, or u fine? best of luck the rest of the regular season and in the playoffs! Buckeye Nation will be pulling for you!!!
-
Greg! Happy Easter! I just saw your interview on ESPN.com and I just wanted to say keep up the good work. You've helped the Blazers to a number of great wins and I have no doubt that is an upward trend. Remember that no matter what, you've got the whole city of Portland pulling for you.
-
Greg, you are a blessing for us fans to have. You are a player who genuinely cares... not a facade, a guy that is who he says he is.
Also, do you realize that you lead the entire NBA in offensive rebound rate? You rebound 16% of Blazer misses? That's incredible. -
Happy Easter Greg, saw your interview on ESPN, great job. You are a great ambassador for the Blazers and Portland. Keep up the good work on and off the court. Its going to be a fun and exciting ride next few weeks no matter what happens. Thanks for your hard work.
-
Happy Easter Greg! We're lucky to have you as part of the team and part of the community. Thanks for reppin' my niece's red wristband.
-
Happy Easter Mr. GO! I am an undergraduate at the University of Hong Kong. It's my first time to be here. You and JB are my favourite blazers. Looking forward to your series of double-doubleS and monster blocks! I will watch blazers games via www.atdhe.net
Enjoy the Game! -
Great messsage G.O.! Good to hear that you know what's important, and that you appreciate everything you have. I appreciate all the amazingly hard work you have put in to get to where you are. It must have been so much work to come back and get to where you are now. You have made such an impact, having you and Pryz together is a huge bonus for the team. Glad to hear that he is teaching you some stuff. Perhaps you can teach him about good music! Kidding! Later
-

Greg,
Well said, and very mature of you to step back and give thanks for all of life's blessings. I know this season has not always gone according to script but every game I see glimpses of what a truly dominant force you WILL become in the next few years. Keep working hard, stay positive and enjoy yourself in the most beautiful city in the country. -
Hey Greg - happy belated Easter to you! Great game last night - keep working hard and enjoying yourself! Us Blazers fans are looking forward to many good years - and can't wait to see your part in that. I loved Jason Quick's blog the other day, that mentioned that many of you & your teammates are regulars at the pre-game chapel sessions! Keep God first - and the rest of the stuff will work itself out! God Bless you, Greg! Go Blazers!
-
Happy belated Easter and hope you can stay healthy and have a great career!
-
Refs don't call cheap fouls in the playoffs. You are going to blow up like a bomb.
-
God Bless Greg. Keep it real and Bring it hard for the playoffs. This town is going to turn into a crazy college town!!!
blazerjunkie -
Bring it hard in the playoffs, no easy baskets. This team is going to be great in a few years, but live in the moment. You guys can beat the Rockets. The whole city is behind you guys win or lose.
-
what up big homie. you had a good game tonight. the loss isn't too significant, just gotta steal one back in h-town. no matter what happens you got the respect of every blazer fan who knows what they are talkin about. not gonna call out the refs (although it did seem a little fishy with the dark lord, stern, keeping a watchful eye on his minions in black and white). houston was just the more aggressive team, but i know the heart that this blazer team has is going to show. good lookin out!
-
Greg - Thanks for being on our team. You're a quality guy. It was good to see you take the ball to Mutombo .. I'd LOVE to see you do the same thing to Yao. I know that will require study and learning on your part - I remember when Yao blocked one (or two?) or your dunks. Yao's a great center .. you have to give him that. But you're getting ready to take advantage of him. I wish I were an expert on his defensive weaknesses .. maybe the video guy can help you out. Go Blazers!!! Humor for your day: "My day started out terribly. On my way to work, I rear-ended the car in front of me. The driver got out, and he was a DWARF! He looked up at me and said, "I am NOT happy!" I said, "Well, then, which one ARE you?" That's how the fight started..." [Taken from www.gfcl.net]

Please blog a little Big guy. bring some joy to us GeeO fans on and off the court if you please please pretty please.

Hey greg, I love your blog. don't stop writing. I like your attitude.
-
That was what I've been talking about when you shoved Yao. Don't take **** from anyone out there. Yao got scared lol. Your baskets made a difference, just hope you can start swatting some shots. Great job, must feel good to win a playoff game.
-
G.O. - I would like to hear your take on the officiating in these playoffs. There have been 2 times that I specifically remember you getting called for fouls when you were just standing there and Yao ran into you. What do you think of this? Because fans up here in Portland are yelling conspiracy. Isn't it funny that refs have to make so many bad calls in order to ensure the Rockets squeak out a win. Go kick the Rockets' @$$e$ Greg. I think in Game 3 you showed you can contain Yao about as well as anybody. I'm pretty sure you scared him becacuse he didn't seem to want to lock up with you.
Keep up the good work Greg. Don't let that big chinese bastard push you around and get BS calls on you. If you have to foul him hard, do it, then go to the officials and say "now that was a foul." Don't take S from a big goofy dork like Yao. Force him to play you and you'll see that you can take him whenever you want. Good luck big man, and GO BLAZERS! -
G.O,I have known you are a great guy for a long time.to be honest ,I'm from China,a country where YAO is from.and I
know that it's hard to defense such a great center. But I know you will make it.Many people in China hope to see a super center rises, and I'm glad to see your job in the games.Well done!!!
At last,I will say that "??????" in chinese. It mains "fight for glory!".
I look forward to see your glory against Andrew in the next series, right? -
Greg, you have more patience than any other man on this planet. You never get mad when they call the biggest BS fouls on you. I want you to know we all see this horrible biased reffing. I hope you cuss a ref out one of these days. I can't stand Yao and his reputation calls. Knock Yao on his ass if the are going to call you for a foul.
-
Good to see your hustle, Greg .. I can see you're learning to handle the post. Great last few games .. Just keep your patience and keep the fouls down - and go SCORE!! I'm convinced the team can win in Houston .. I thought so in game 3 but became sure of it in game 4. Go get 'em.
-
G.O. - good rookie season man. a couple injuries but they happen to everyone so whatever. Hey how's your knee, not the microfracture one but the one with the bonechip? Is that still sore at all? Is it something you'll need surgery for or is it okay now? Overall great yeah man, it was great to see the Rose Garden jacked up again. Work hard this offseason and come back stronger faster and better than ever to prove all the haters and doubters wrong. Good luck and god bless G.O.
