I have to say as a non-crazy Portland Blazer fan I am super excited to see you come back next year. I think the rehab that you've been doing should speak volumes to the detractors, and haters in the sports media. To see you put yourself through the day in day out grueling schedule, and what has to be a tedious workout rouine, I don't see how anybody could not think Portland made the best pick last year. Your mental toughness is off the charts. Peace
I suggest to everyone reading this blog that they take a HUGE stack of All-Star Ballots at the next Blazers game and fill them all up with votes for Brandon and LaMarcus. That's what I did!!!
I heard he was doing it twice a week. Hello no future back problems, higher verts & crazy lean stregth. So good to hear. Amazing dedication from such a young player. Nice work Greg. Can't wait to see the drunks you throw down from the top of the key!!!!!
It's great to see this video. It gets me excited for when you come back. I can't wait. Are you learning a lot watching from the bench? It is always great to see you there. We always cheer when they put you on the big screen. Everyones supports you in P-town.
Greg,
Thanks for the update. We are all looking forward to seeing you play next season. In the meantime, we are enjoying watching the success that the team has been having in your absence. Our team will be awesome once you are there.
Mark
Hey GO!
You are doing a great job rehabbing! I can't wait until you are playing next year!
I know it's tough for you to sit and watch when the Blazers are not playing well knowing you could help, but I bet it's pretty tough when they are playing well too, knowing you could make them even better!
I heard Greg Anthony reported you are up to 310 lbs... is this true? I am one of the people who believe that you are such a physical freak (no disrespect intended) that you could probably play just as well or better near 300 lbs. It is inspiring to see how hard you are working on your rehab. Keep it up and stay positive.
Just had a thought while watching you in the pool...Think about how much more mentally prepared you'll be next year after going through all this rehab. Playing those 82 game next year is gonna' be so much easier after this!
Greg, good seeing ya looking healthy. Sorry about the Ohio State loss in the championship.
I was at the same restaurant as you while you were watching the Blazers - Bulls game. We were the table of 16 for my buddy's going away party (not the crazy dude sitting right behind you). We wanted to invite you to play Rock Band with us that night, but they ushered you off. Wanna rock out some night when you are in town while the team is on the road? I know you are a Guitar Hero maniac so you need a back-up band.
Last Thing - Can you give your brother a heads up that Oregon State is the place to come play football? I know Conley is an Arkansas guy, but your bro would be closer to Portland and it would still be OSU. Go Bucks and Go Beavs!!
O-h-i-o!!
Hey there big fella! You're looking good and getting big! Grandpa would be happy to see that. Lol. You know what you gotta keep doing so just keep up the good work. Grandpa & grandma both say hi! we love ya bunches. Give us a call sometime soon. Peace!
It's good to see your rehab is going well. Keep it up Greg! Also, I hear your brother is considering playing football as a TE for Oregon State. As a former beaver that gets me really excited and I hope we can get his commitment! OSU is a great place, I hope he decides to play for us. Tell Anthony we want to see him in the orange and black. Holla!
Hey Greg! Lookin' good in the pool. Keep up all the hard work. Can't wait to see you play again! Quick question (nothing to do with pool workouts :). . .was interested in how you felt about the football NC outcome Monday. I'm a diehard Buckeye fan and sick of all the negativity towards OSU due to the three title game losses in the last year (2 in football and 1 in basketball). What do you tell all the "haters" when they bash OSU and the Big Ten?
WHAT UP GREG? I DON'T KNOW IF YOU REMEMBER ME, I USED TO WORK AT O'CHARLEYS ON 75 TH, AND LIVED ACROSS FROM YOU. I LIVED IN THE WOODS OF CASTLETON. HAPPY TO SEE YOU ARE DOING GREAT.

Wowzir. With the surprise of the P.T.B. this year, when you come back next year, forgetttt about ittt!
You guys will be competing with the best.
Im talkin about the Spurs, Suns, Dallas...etc.
Its gunna be a hell of a year next year.
You were good in college, and despite the injury and surgery, you will be amazing next year.Just work on strengthening your knee and the rest will follow. Portland and the fans believe in you! We just want to see you show every one why your one of the best and how perfectly you fit in with the rest of this near perfect team. With you, this team will be perfect!
I may be a Laker fan, but it is good to see that you are working hard to get back into shape and ready to play next season. I'm really looking forward to see how you and Andrew Bynum match up next season, should be fun.
AB? Are you kidding me? The only thing that Andrew Bynum is going to be doing with Oden the next ten years is watching highlight films of him getting balls stuffed in his face and his shots getting swatted into the stands. Andrew Bynum, LOL. Keep dreaming and enjoy what ever you have been smoking, you will need it next season.
Hey Greg!
Happy Birthday! I hope life is treating you .....and Charles Barkley McLovin.....great! It's hard to believe that you're 20 already! Hugs!

Swimming is great because it puts low pressure on your joints. I think that it is a great way to get in shape too. I tried doing that over the summer and man was it tough. I ended up doing more running than swimming. I think I need to start doing both though.
