Super Bowl
I know of so many people going to the Super Bowl, and most of them arent even going to watch the game. Thats crazy on how many people go down there just to see other people. I heard its alot of fun though. I wont have a chance to have a Super Bowl party or go to one because we will be on the plane headed to New Orleans. There are a couple of tv's on the plane so ill at least watch. Im going for the Cardinals just cause of Edgerrin James im a fan of his and i remember when i was in High School he use to go my games when he played for the Colts. Even though i have some family from Pittsburg, im still going with Arizona. It should be a good game though on of these times when im retired i would love to go to a Super Bowl but actually watch the game.

I'm with you, Go Cardinals! Have a safe trip and do your stuff against those Hornets. You are growing by leaps and bounds, and we LOVE you! And if I were ever able to go to the Super Bowl, I'd watch the game too :)
Go Blazers!

But if basketball is what you really want than you need to work your @$$ off for it. No slacking EVER on the court. No excuses. No regrets. You need to play every game like it's your last. What happened if you couldn't play ball anymore after today? Would you be happy with your last performance and your effort in your last game? Play the game like you love it, because if you don't it won't love you back. You have the physical tools to be one of the greats, you just need to believe in yourself. Go do what you feel is right, and everything will work out for the best.
Good luck in whatever decision you make in life and God speed.

Once again, this has nothing to do with the Durant/Oden pick, I still feel Portland made the right choice. It comes down to a young man needing to decide whether he wants his legacy to be of a man with great potential and who sometimes gave it his all, or does he want his legacy to be that of a hard-workin big man who brought his lunch pail to work everyday and gave it his all everytime on the court?
You can all say I'm a moron or I'm being unrealistic, but Greg is 21 and is at a huge point in his life. Does he put in the hard work, the extra hours, the extra effort to make himself great? Or does he simply flounder away most of his talent like Travis Outlaw (I mean Outlaw actually said he doesn't work on his game in the offseason because "the offseason is when you're supposed to be away from basketball.").
G.O.- you have the physical tools and assets to be a force in this league. But you have to decide whether to work and make yourself great, or fall of into the shadows of mediocrity. The sooner you know what your heart tells you, the sooner you will be able to put all your effort into it. Good luck, I don't mean to come off as a **** but it would be a shame to see you flounder away all the gifts God gave you like Outlaw does. No matter what you do G.O. be great at it.

Not that you need the help, but I'll gladly hold rickdawg while you rip his lungs out through his @$$! You need advice from this friggin' dude? Unreal.
Fast-forward to the middle of next season, and you'll be tearing up the league. The year after that, the Blazers start their perennial run to the NBA finals! How many banners? God only knows. I just know that you're gonna be worth the wait.

Basically I'm the only person on here who has the balls it seems to tell him the truth. Keep blowing smoke up the kid's @$$ all you want, all I wrote was that if playing in the NBA is TRULY what he wants to do, than never give anyone an excuse to call you out for not hustlin and working hard. Run hard every time, play hard every minute on the floor, and work hard on the floor. I didn't tell him to quit. I said if this isn't what his heart burns for and wants and loves to do, then don't do it. But if it is, work as hard as possible so there's never any regrets.
