Laura Bush and Helping America's Youth

I spoke at the Helping America's Youth regional conference about two weeks ago. It was held at the Portland Center for the Performing Arts and I got to introduce Laura Bush. Check out the video.

BTW, hope you made the trip to Sac for tonight's game against the Blazers, it should be good. I just hope Roy doesn't start at SF again because he got shut down by Artest in the second half last time. I want to see a Roy vs. Martin duel.

    seems to have worked when you steal an election in two states. This guy never has received the popular vote. His brother Jed helped him in florida in the first election and an electronic voting system helped him in Ohio and Florida in the second. So I guess we are both right. hey greg! im glad that the rehab is going well! i got two questions for you A) how do you feel about Ohio States chances for going all the way to the finals again this year? and Have you ever heard of the Flutag? The Flutag is put on by Red bull and its where you make a contraption that is supposed to "fly" and you take it off a 25ft platform over a river. well the reason why im telling you about this is because this year the completion is being held in Portland Oregon this year and me and my teammates want you aboard! nothing says Portland Like a trailblazer! we are not in it for your money so dont be worried we can make ends meat and pay for everything, all we are asking is to have a home town hero with us to make it a more memorable time. Well Flutag is August 2nd and we would love to have you as a teammate.

Wow Gregg, you are becoming quite the political sports celebrity. I'm not that much of a political person, I just know what and who I like but I'm not mad at you! I would like to see more attention given to the educational system in New Orleans as-well-as those school systems in all cities in the United States who are in most dire need. Not just in speeches and acolades but in actions and deeds otherise it is all just talk.

Greg,
You are a dwon to earth young man that I thoroughly enjoy watching, not just basketbakk, but in your day to day activities. Even though you are a multi-millionaire, it doesn't seem to affect your personality. You've done your family proud and I look forward to watching you play injury free. It would have been nice to see you, Conley, and Cook play another year at Ohio State, but you made the best decision. Imagine had you not gone pro, discovered the need for the surgery which would have taken you out of the line up for a second straight year which probably ould have forced you to remain at OSU to improve your draft stock. I think god blessed you to make the best decision.
You treat people as people and that you aren't better than they are just because you are a high paid athlete. I respect that more than any dunk you might do. I will invest in the NBA tv package that will allow me to watch some Portland games. I just wish you coulld somehow play with the Cavaliers. Imagine, you in the middle, Lebron on the wing, Mo williams at the point, and Boobie at the 2....Championship written all over that!!
