Cleveland
This past friday I went to Cleveland, to do an appearance for Topps. I did something that I have never done before, go to a card convention. It was called The National. There were alot of people there for trading cards and other sports memorabilia. It was really cool. Most of the time i was with ERIC from Topps, he is a cool dude. They made everything harmless and I had fun. I had a chance to help in on a Pack War session that was pretty fun. When I gave out cards, everyone was screaming and grabbing. It was a good atmosphere. I ended up getting on the Ferris Wheel that was there. It was cool and it didn't move that fast, but it was big. I'm not even gonna lie though, after about three times going around I was like I need to get off this thing. After that convention, I went back to my hotel and went to work signing over a thousand stickers within a hour and a half. It wasn't too bad. ERIC and i watched "End of Days" on USA. It's with Arnold S. (i dont know how to spell it), but it was one of his movies. Then I went up to my room to get ready for this Topps party that they had going on at this restaurant called Fahrenheit. It is a really nice place. When I get back i def. will stop in. The party was cool though. They had a Topps thing that i took pictures in front of and they printed out the pictures right then. I enjoyed my night. People showed up to the party, but it was funny cause it was phat for a good thirty minutes then I noticed people were leaving. It was still cool because i got to go to another place were Daequan Cook was and I chilled with him for a little bit, then when he left to head back to Dayton, David Lighty showed up and I chilled with him for the rest of the night. Cleveland is a really cool city, I had fun, and i got to see my teammates. I did have an eight o'clock flight the next morning so that sucked really bad, but it was worth it. Thanks to Topps and ERIC!!!!!!

Nice to read what you are doing this summer. You probably saw a big article featuring YOU in today's Oregonian. If not, here's the link: http://www.oregonlive.com/blazers/oregonian/index.ssf?/base/sports/1186206971277340.xml&coll=7
Some of us were disappointed to see the article make reference to the term "Jail Blazers". Those days are long gone. But you are probably aware that some of the former Blazers brought disgrace to themselves and to Portland. Fans are glad that we have a new upstanding group of players who will only bring honor to their team.
Portland is excited to have you on board. Write often, stay humble, and enjoy your summer. We look forward to seeing you play soon!
Sincerely,
Mark

(Airplanes got Kareem Abdul Jabbar in it) if you havent seen them you wont be disappointed.
ps I saw the big poster of you and LMA and Roy (I call you and LMA Lagregacus Odenage because I like long annoying nicknames =) and it was great, funny thing is I bet you seem even bigger than that to people who are playing against you.
thanks for the blog and thanks for giving me a great 2k7 team to play with! (I made your profile from ratings I found on the internet, you will rule video game basketball!)

I assure you that I am not some yahoo or random person off the street who happen to get a hold of a laptop.
I have tried contact you and the blazers many a times and have gotten "nothing". So I thought I would try and go this route . I know you prabably get e-mails like this all the time. But your help to not only save the life of children but childhoods would be appreciative. And you would be doing a wonderful thing.

For the past seven years we have held a carnival in Lake Oswego, Oregon to help raise money for The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). This year our carnival will take place Saturday, August 11th. in Lake Oswego from 1-5pm Below I have included some information to explain our event.
The Jack's Team Carnival for a Cure is named for Jack Dare, a Lake Oswego resident who was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 18 months. He's now 10 1/2 years old and is coping daily with this disease. As friends of Jack and his family, a small group of us formed a team in 1999 to participate in the annual Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Walk to Cure Diabetes. In 2001, it didn't seem like walking was quite enough. With help from family and friends, we began holding a neighborhood carnival in Jack's backyard to raise both money and awareness for this potentially life-threatening disease. Last year, over 600 people attended this event.
As I previously mentioned this is our carnival's 7th year, and the goal is to raise $25,000. In 2006, Jack's Team was the #1 fund raising team for the Oregon and Southwest Washington chapter of JDRF, surpassing all family and corporate teams. Since 2001, Jack's Team has contributed over $85,000 to JDRF.
.In addition to the many children's games, raffles, great food and prizes, we highlight both a silent and oral auction which is the predominant source of the funds raised through this event. Which leads me to the reason for this letter.
You are a wonderful athlete and an astounding basketball player. If there was anyway that we could somehow have a basketball signed by you to be used in our oral auction it would be an amazing item to add to our auction.
I can provide you with what ever you would need to prove that this is on the up and up. My e-mail is nknjmes@aol.com, cell phone 939-3185.
Help out a wonderful cause. 30 SECONDS OF YOUR TIME COULD HELP US FIND A CURE!
Kindest Regards,
Niki Wagner

G.O.!!!!!!!, do the right thing. How long does it take to sign a basketball? 30 seconds at the max? Plus it's for a great cause. Who knows? Maybe you could get some of your cool blazer teammates to sign too?
Can't wait for season to start.
